The Library of Ivy and Ellie is a fully renovated 1949 cottage at 903 W. Wendover Avenue in Greensboro, North Carolina, set between the Idlewood, Westerwood, Fisher Park, and Old Irving Park neighborhoods. This two-bedroom, one-bath whole home rental accommodates up to four guests and is available exclusively through Airbnb, hosted by Joy Watson, a licensed NC Realtor and Airbnb Superhost.
The cottage was lovingly designed as an homage to Joy's two daughters, Ivy and Ellie. Books, cherished mementos, and handmade quilts fill every room. Hardwood floors run throughout, the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and electric stove, and the bathroom features a shower-only configuration with a stacking washer and dryer in the hallway closet. A 54-inch HDTV with Roku is included. Streaming and internet access are provided at 467 Mbps, making it an excellent option for remote workers and digital nomads.
The property sits within easy walking distance of Downtown Greensboro via the Downtown Greenway, a four-mile paved urban trail featuring public art installations and neighborhood connections. Moses Cone Memorial Hospital is less than five minutes away by car, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) campus is similarly close. GTA public transit stops are accessible on Hill Street, and the Wendover Avenue corridor connects guests to shops, restaurants, breweries, and live music venues throughout the city. We are local Greensboro hosts. Joy and Eric live nearby and are available throughout your stay.
