Underground Storage Tanks & Environmental
Older Triad homes often heated with oil, and buried tanks still turn up during due diligence. These companies locate, remove, or properly close tanks and provide the documentation lenders and future buyers want to see.
Cedar Rock Environmental
NC licensed geologists who locate hidden tanks, handle removal or abandonment, and manage soil testing and state reporting. They quoted a hidden tank for us in High Point during due diligence. Serving the Triad since 1994.
Carolinas Environmental, LLC
Handled a UST removal and closure-in-place letter for a Greensboro seller we worked with. Also does soil remediation, demolition, and hazardous cleanup. Based in Lexington, NC.
Good to know before you close
If a buried oil tank turns up, the cleanest path is usually for the seller to handle removal or closure before closing and hand over the final "clean/clear" documentation. That letter is what protects the next owner, satisfies most lenders, and keeps your resale simple.
