Urban Farming
Eric and I both love to be outside working in the gardens clipping flowers for our guests, planting new stuff for next year and even pulling weeds. Every year things look better and every year we add in new elements. We frequently propagate stuff from other yards including our friends and family’s yards. Eric’s parents Uschie and Ervin have a huge garden and a number of bee hives they still work at their home in Asheboro. My Mom, Dottie is a Master Gardener here in Guilford County so she tells us when there is any seed and plant sharing events with the cooperative extension. Eric keeps a hive of bees here but so far, we have not gotten anything more than a few small tastes of honey.
